Shortening the Break-in Period and Improving Braking Stability
After installing new brake pads, the normal break-in period is 200-300 kilometers. The following quick break-in method is suitable for all vehicle models and can shorten the period to 100-150 kilometers, balancing efficiency and safety. The steps are as follows:

1. Low-speed break-in stage (first 50 kilometers): Control the vehicle speed at 30-50 km/h. Lightly apply the brakes 3-5 times every 10 kilometers, maintaining a braking distance of 5-8 meters each time. This allows the brake pads to initially contact the brake discs, avoiding excessive gaps.
2. Medium-speed break-in stage (50-100 kilometers): Increase the vehicle speed to 60-80 km/h. Perform moderate braking every 15 kilometers (braking distance 3-5 meters). Avoid sudden braking and heavy loads to ensure even contact of the friction surfaces and reduce localized wear.
3. Final inspection phase (100-150 km): Resume normal driving rhythm, occasionally lightly apply the brakes to observe the condition. If there are no abnormal noises during braking and the braking distance is uniform, the rapid break-in is complete.

Key precautions: During the rapid break-in period, frequent hard braking and heavy-load braking are strictly prohibited to avoid overheating of the brake pads or damage to the friction surfaces. After the break-in is complete, high-intensity braking can be performed to further solidify the braking effect.
